Overview

Hitman is a stealth game and the sixth mainline entry in the Hitman franchise, serving as the first installment of the World of Assassination trilogy. Storyline

In 1999, an unnamed man is recruited into the International Contract Agency and demonstrates exceptional skill as an assassin. His handler, Diana Burnwood, helps him pass a rigged final evaluation, and the man, now known simply as "47," begins his career as a contract killer. Twenty years later, 47 carries out a series of high-profile assassinations that initially appear unrelated. Diana gradually discovers that an unknown figure called the "Shadow Client" has been covertly orchestrating these contracts to strike at Providence, a secretive organization with hidden influence over global affairs.
