Blaster Master Zero II

A sequel to Blaster Master Zero, this action Metroidvania picks up several months after the first game's events. Earth inventor Jason Frudnick had been led underground by a frog-like creature named Fred to SOPHIA III, an armored tank called a Metal Attacker belonging to the android girl Eve, who came from the distant planet Sophia to destroy the planet-consuming alien Mutants. Together they defeated the Mutant Overlord, but its core left Eve infected. Now the surviving Mutant cells within her have multiplied and threaten her life, and no cure can be found on Earth.
